Yarrabee Coal Company near Blackwater, Queensland, is seeking an Engineering Tradesperson – Mechanical (Diesel Fitter) to join our growing maintenance team on a large-scale mining fleet.

You will perform planned maintenance, diagnose faults, and support field breakdowns to maximise machine availability and safety onsite, working with a focused team committed to safety and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Good communication skills and ability to convey information clearly.
• Familiarity with basic computer tasks and data entry.
• Ability to plan, prioritise and self-manage workloads.
• Willingness to work both independently and with others in a mine environment.

Responsabilités

• Perform planned maintenance to keep heavy mining equipment operating at peak performance.
• Diagnose faults and repair to maximise uptime.
• Respond to field breakdowns and return equipment to service safely.
• Maintain maintenance records, work orders and reporting accurately.
• Prioritise tasks effectively with minimal supervision.
