Job summary

Brighton & Hove Albion Football Club is hiring a Minibus Driver to transport academy players to and from the Elite Football Performance Centre in Lancing. The role is casual, hourly paid with zero-hour patterns and requires a full, clean driving licence with optional DCPC qualification.

You will ensure safeguarding while moving under-17s between training and homes, operating a split shift to fit the club’s needs.

Qualifications

• Full, clean driving licence with non-restricted D1 category preferred.
• DCPC qualification ideal but not essential.
• Experience driving 9-seater vehicles.
• Experience transporting school-aged children with safeguarding awareness.

Responsibilities

• Transport academy players to training sessions at the Elite Football Performance Centre in Lancing.
• Deliver players safely to their homes after training and return to the training ground.
• Flexibly cover a split shift to meet business needs.

Support with transporting our talented academy players in and around Sussex

We are hiring for a minibus driver to safely transport our academy players to their training sessions at our elite performance centre in Lancing. Once training has finished, you will then be responsible for driving the players safely back to their homes and then back to the training ground once more, to return the minibus.

This role involves working a split shift so we are looking for candidates who can be flexible to meet the requirements of the position and the business.

About you

We are seeking friendly individuals who live and breathe our club values. Ideally, you will have experience driving a 9-seater vehicle and transporting school-aged children, with a strong understanding of safeguarding practices.

It is essential that you hold a full, clean and valid driving licence ideally with a non-restricted D1 category authorisation. In order to drive our 17+ seater buses, you will be required to hold a DCPC qualification card, this is not essential but would be ideal!
