Mingara Recreation Club on the Central Coast is seeking a Full-Time Baker to join our busy kitchen. Reporting to the Head Chef, you will bake breads, pastries, cakes and other items, ensuring quality and presentation standards while working in a fast-paced team.

We value a positive attitude, food safety knowledge, and a willingness to learn. This role offers above-award wages, development opportunities, and shift flexibility including weekends and public holidays.

Qualifications

• Past bakery or kitchen experience is desirable.
• Passion for baking and producing high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and bake a range of breads, pastries, cakes, and other baked goods
• Ensure all products consistently meet quality and presentation standards
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment
• Follow all food safety, workplace health, and hygiene procedures
• Assist with stock control, product preparation, and daily kitchen operations
• Work collaboratively with the wider kitchen team to deliver an exceptional customer experience

A Certificate III in Commercial Cookery, Patisserie, Baking, or a related qualification will be highly regarded but is not essential for candidates with relevant industry experience.

Your Commitment
