Job summary

Whitehaven Coal is seeking a Mine Controller/Dispatcher to lead fleet coordination and real-time operations support in Northwest New South Wales. You will manage the Fleet Management System to align with production targets, ensuring effective communication with Mine Control, Supervisors and Superintendents.

A strong track record in mining dispatch and fleet management is required. The role offers a residential opportunity with a 7/7 day shift roster and the chance to build lifelong experience

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a mining dispatch role.
• Experience using Fleet Management Systems (FMS) or AHS.
• Experience managing large fleets in a mining environment.
• Excellent communication skills and comfort with technology.
• Willingness to provide a police check.
• Must have a valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Operate the Fleet Management System to align daily operations with production targets.
• Monitor real-time changes and communicate with Mine Control, Production Supervisors and Superintendents.
• Support decision making to keep operations on track and safe.
