Job summary

GTS Freight Group, a national freight leader, is seeking an experienced Mildura-based Yardman with an Unrestricted MC license to join our team.

Duties include daily vehicle checks, delivering freight to customer time-slots, loading and unloading trailers, applying load restraints, refuelling and keeping equipment clean.

We offer training, a full-time permanent position and the support of a safety-conscious fleet.

Qualifications

• Hold a current Unrestricted MC license.
• At least 2 years MC linehaul experience.
• Reliable and enthusiastic.
• Clear communicator and must be punctual.
• Strong understanding and commitment to safety.
• Basic Fatigue Management (BFM) accreditation would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Daily vehicle checks and fitness for duty.
• Delivery of allocated freight to required locations as per customer time-slot.
• Load / unload trailers.
• Load restraint as per National Load Restraint Guidelines.
• Refuelling and cleanliness of allocated equipment.
• Promptly report any mechanical faults, delivery issues or delays.
