Job summary

Telum is seeking an experienced MIG Welder for immediate start at a precast concrete manufacturing site in Sydney. You will weld steel reinforcement, read workshop drawings and handle overhead cranes, contributing to a busy production team.

The role offers regular overtime, weekly pay and a temp-to-perm pathway. A safety-conscious, team-oriented attitude and experience in manufacturing are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Experience with MIG welding on steel reinforcement.
• Ability to read and interpret workshop/technical drawings.
• Precast concrete or manufacturing experience is highly regarded.
• Confidence operating overhead cranes in a workshop.
• Reliable, practical, safety-conscious attitude.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• LF forklift licence is an advantage, not essential.

Hours of Work

Early starts with regular overtime available.

• Monday to Thursday: 5:00am start, 10-hour shifts

• Friday: 4:00am start, 8-hour shift where possible

Pre-Employment Requirements

Successful candidates will be required to complete a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening, physical assessment, spirometry and hearing (audio) testing.
