Zusammenfassung

Mater Private Hospital Mackay is seeking an experienced Midwifery Unit Manager to lead the Women and Children’s Unit on a permanent full-time basis, with relocation assistance and accommodation provided.

You will provide operational and clinical management to the maternity service, mentor a skilled team of nurses and midwives, and drive safety, quality and patient-centred care across the unit. You’ll work closely with obstetricians and support services to optimise outcomes.

Qualifikationen

• Current AHPRA registration as a Midwife.
• Advanced midwifery clinical competency.
• Exceptional interpersonal and time management skills.
• Ability to lead and develop a clinical team.
• Understanding of clinical cost centre reporting.
• Experience with risk management and quality improvement.
• Knowledge of contemporary HR practices.
• Strong leadership aligned to Mater mission and values.
