Job summary

Darling Downs Health is seeking a Clinical Facilitator - Midwifery to strengthen workforce capability and support high-quality care for women, babies and families. You will guide learning in clinical settings, coach midwives and students, and partner with leaders to drive positive outcomes.

The role emphasizes evidence-based practice, professional growth pathways, and leadership across multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Registration as a midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA).
• Postgraduate qualifications in midwifery or related workplace training credentials are advantageous.
• Experience coaching, mentoring and assessing capability with constructive feedback.
• Strong communication, collaboration and leadership to support teams.

Responsibilities

• Empower midwives and students through coaching, mentoring and practical learning experiences.
• Support evidence-based practice and clinical excellence to enhance safety and care.
• Identify development opportunities and create learning pathways for growth.
