Job summary

Grafton Base Hospital, part of Northern NSW Local Health District (NNSWLHD), is seeking a Midwife Educator to support and mentor student nurses and midwives and to facilitate a professional relationship between university students and Registered Nurses.

The Midwife Educator is responsible for the planning, development, delivery, and evaluation of nursing/midwifery education programs at a facility level to support evidence-based, person-centred nursing/midwifery care.

Qualifications

• Experience in nursing/midwifery education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, deliver and evaluate nursing/midwifery education programs.
• Mentor student nurses and midwives and foster collaboration with university students and RNs.
