Job summary

Newcastle Private Hospital is seeking Registered Midwives to join the maternity team across Birthsuite, Antenatal, Postnatal and Special Care Nursery. Flexible hours with Full Time, Part Time or Casual opportunities, relocation assistance for eligible candidates.

You will work with highly skilled colleagues, educators and lactation consultants to provide exceptional care to women and families. Must hold AHPRA registration and NSW Working with Children Check; previous maternity experience is

• Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Midwife
• Current NSW Working with Children Check
• Demonstrated recent experience working in a similar role
• Evidence of right to work in Australia prior to appointment

If you are successful in the role, you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant registered nursing experience against the current Healthscope and NSWNMA/ANMF - NSW Nurses and Midwives' - Enterprise Agreement 2026, a salary ranging from $40 - $56 per hour.
