Job summary

Marex in Sydney seeks an experienced, ambitious junior-level professional to manage a portfolio of interest rate products. You will work autonomously and with a team, engaging with clients to maintain relationships and attract new flow.

You will handle interest rate swaps (AUD/NZD), onboard new clients, support risk/compliance requirements, and collaborate with Operations and Technology to improve efficiency and P&L through market analysis.

Role Summary

An experienced, ambitious, and proactive individual, responsible for a portfolio of interest rates products. Junior level position with the ability to work autonomously, and also as part of a team and directly engage with clients. Commercial ability to maintain good relationship with clients and find new ones to bring flow.

All employees are expected to understand and comply with any Sarbanes Oxley operational requirements relevant to their role.

Overall Responsibilities

• Dealing in Interest rate swaps in particular for AUD and NZD products
• Indirectly corresponding with clients. Clients include Banks, HFs, Real Money
• Responsible for assisting with the onboarding of any new client relationships and maintaining of existing client relationships, assisting with support processes as required by colleagues, and engaging and updating clients.
• Working efficiently and supporting with making efficiencies e.g. assisting in the preparation of any new required frameworks.
• Collaboration with central operations functions which support the trading role including but not limited to Operations and Technology.
• Strategizing to increase P&L, requiring analysis of markets and products.
