Job summary

Prophet is an Australian SaaS platform that helps marketing and commercial leaders understand drivers behind their business. We’re seeking a Sales Manager to win new mid-market ANZ clients and own a target account portfolio, managing the full sales cycle from discovery to close.

You will work with the Sales Director, Growth Architect, and Marketing to build pipeline, with support from specialists to demonstrate Prophet’s value. This role offers a fast-scaling, internationalMomentum environment.

Qualifications

• Record of winning B2B business and delivering against personal sales targets, ideally with mid-market brands or agencies.
• Ability to run a full sales cycle from prospecting and discovery to proposals and close.
• Experience with personalised, account-based selling and lead generation.
• Strong commercial judgement on pricing and contract terms.

Responsibilities

• Deliver against an agreed personal sales target for new clients and recurring revenue.
• Research and qualify prospects, lead discovery and build an understanding of their marketing investment and priorities.
• Run tailored demonstrations and build clear proposals and business cases.
• Negotiate value, pricing and scope within the approved commercial framework.
• Build a mature account-based selling approach using enriched data and outreach.
• Collaborate with Growth Architect and Marketing on ABM, demand generation, nurture and events.
• Progress agency introductions, partner referrals and joint opportunities with leadership.
• Use the sales methodology to qualify opportunities and create practical close plans.
• Provide complete handover to Customer Success and onboard, ensuring alignment on objectives and scope.
• Maintain accurate account records and leverage CRM tools to progress opportunities.
• Develop knowledge of Prophet’s product and market to support credible conversations.
