Job summary

Design & Build is seeking a Mid-Level Interior Designer for commercial fit-outs and workplace projects across Australia. You will manage multiple projects from concept to completion, coordinate designs, and liaise with clients, bringing strong space planning and development skills to the role.

Knowledge of ArchiCAD is beneficial, along with a background in D&C processes and understanding of Building Code of Australia regulations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years experience
• Excellent presentation and communication skills
• Must have proven workplace/office fit out design experience
• A background from a D&C company (desirable)
• Knowledge or ArchiCAD is beneficial
• Demonstrated understanding of the design, detailing and construction process
• Knowledge of Building Code of Australia and other industry regulations

About the Company
Our client is a well-established Design and Construct firm who specialize in commercial fit outs across industrial, government, education and workplace projects, as well as building refurbishments and commercial joinery throughout Australia.As part of the design team, you will be focusing primarily on workplace projects in collaboration with other interstate offices, giving you the exposure to projects nationally.

About the Role
We are seeking a talented Mid-Level Interior Designer who is looking for long-term growth and development within the team. With a large pipeline of projects ongoing and incoming, this role will suit an experienced and confident designer who can take ownership of multiple projects from start to finish. You will be a strong communicator with a confidence in your client consultation skills. You will have a creative flair with knowledge of popular ongoing trends and the ability to predict what's upcoming in design.

Within this role you will;

You have a confident and approachable personality with a thorough understanding of the D&C process.
