Job summary

Projex Partners, a growing Engineering and Project Management consultancy on the Gold Coast, seeks a Mid-Level Civil Engineer to join our team. You will contribute to a range of civil infrastructure projects, take ownership of projects, and build strong client relationships with support from senior engineers.

Ideal candidates will have a Civil Engineering degree and 5–7 years of experience, plus RPEQ/CPEng eligibility, with strong communication and leadership potential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
• 5–7 years' relevant industry experience preferred.
• RPEQ and/or CPEng accreditation, or eligibility to obtain within three months.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and autonomously.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to delivery of diverse civil engineering and infrastructure projects.
• Collaborate with experienced engineers, specialists and project support staff.
• Take on leadership within design teams where appropriate.
• Manage own projects from initial design through delivery.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Engage with clients and stakeholders to deliver practical, high-quality outcomes.

About the opportunity

As our business continues to grow, we're looking for a talented Mid-Level Civil Engineer to join our Gold Coast team.

This is an opportunity to take the next step in your engineering career, working alongside experienced professionals on a diverse range of exciting projects. What you'll be doing

• Contributing to the delivery of a diverse range of civil engineering and infrastructure projects.
• Working collaboratively with experienced engineers, technical specialists and project support staff.
• Being actively involved in design teams, with opportunities to take on a leadership role.
• Managing your own projects, from initial design through to delivery.
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
• Engaging directly with clients and stakeholders to deliver practical, high-quality outcomes.

About you

We're looking for someone who is technically capable, motivated and ready to take on greater responsibility.

You'll ideally bring:

• A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• 5–7 years' relevant industry experience.
• RPEQ and/or CPEng accreditation, or eligibility to obtain within three months.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• The ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being confident working autonomously.
• Experience working in design teams, with an interest in developing your leadership capabilities.
• A genuine desire to expand your technical knowledge across a range of engineering disciplines.
• Confidence communicating directly with clients and managing professional relationships.
