Testing Site - JPMC in Australia is seeking a Vice President in M&A to drive strategy and end-to-end execution for mid-cap sell-side mandates. You will cultivate senior client relationships across sectors and lead execution with product and sector teams to deliver flawless advice.

The role requires leading live transactions, developing targeted pitches, and guiding analysts while ensuring robust financial modeling and rigorous process management.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related discipline.
• Minimum 6 years experience in an investment banking front office role.
• Experience in training junior bankers.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Very strong quantitative and analytical skills (Excel modelling).
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Ability to manage projects independently and take responsibility as a team member.
• Ability to interact with clients in a professional manner.
• Understanding of financial, legal and reputational risks in large investment banks.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as the primary day-to-day client point of contact and lead banker on live transactions, focusing on sell-side mandates for mid-cap clients across Australia and New Zealand.
• Drive origination by developing targeted pitches for mid-cap opportunities, including valuation, buyer universe development, and process design.
• Review, direct, and elevate the analytic work of Analysts and Associates to progress marketing and execution workstreams.
• Refine and tailor marketing materials to maximise client impact and achieve process objectives.
• Oversee the creation and quality of financial models and valuation analyses (DCF, comps, LBO, merger models).
• Lead comprehensive process management for sell-side transactions: timeline planning, due diligence, data room management, buyer outreach, and competitive strategies.
• Identify, assess, and manage deal risks—execution, valuation, counterparty, regulatory approvals, and reputational concerns.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders and external advisors to deliver cohesive execution.
• Lead client negotiations, diligence Q&A, and management presentations; prepare senior executives for buyer interactions.
• Contribute to team development by coaching junior bankers on technical skills and best practices.
