Job summary

Corroboree Talent seeks a Senior Microsoft 365 Platform Software Engineer to design, develop, and support enterprise solutions across the Microsoft 365 ecosystem.

You will lead across SharePoint Online, Teams, Exchange Online, Microsoft Graph API, and security tooling, enabling secure, scalable platform uplift and automation.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience designing and supporting Microsoft 365 enterprise solutions.
• Proven SPFx development experience using React and TypeScript.
• Experience building apps and integrations for Microsoft Teams.
• Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Graph API and automation.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 security and compliance platforms.
• Scripting in PowerShell for administration and automation.
• Familiarity with security frameworks such as Essential Eight and ISM controls.

Senior Microsoft 365 Platform Software Engineer

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Microsoft 365 Platform Software Engineer to design, develop, and support enterprise solutions across the Microsoft 365 ecosystem.

This role is suited to a senior M365 specialist with strong development capability across SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, Exchange Online, Microsoft Graph API, security and compliance tooling. You will play a key role in delivering secure, scalable solutions while supporting platform uplift, automation, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop SharePoint Online solutions, including sites, pages, hub structures, and enterprise content management capabilities.
• Build custom SharePoint solutions using SharePoint Framework (SPFx), React, and TypeScript.
• Configure SharePoint information architecture components including content types, managed metadata, term stores, and site columns.
• Develop Microsoft Teams applications including tabs, messaging extensions, connectors, and automated workflows.
• Build and deploy Teams bots using Azure Bot Service, Teams Toolkit, and Microsoft Copilot Studio.
• Develop automation solutions using Microsoft Graph API across users, calendars, mail, Teams, and SharePoint.
• Administer and enhance Microsoft 365 security and compliance capabilities, including:
• Microsoft Purview
• Configure and manage compliance solutions including sensitivity labels, DLP policies, retention policies, communication compliance, and eDiscovery.
• Support Microsoft Syntex implementations, including document processing models and content automation.
• Manage Exchange Online administration including mailbox management, mail flow rules, connectors, and security policies.
• Develop PowerShell scripts for Microsoft 365 administration, provisioning, reporting, and automation.
• Contribute to Microsoft 365 security uplift initiatives, including Essential Eight maturity improvements and ISM-aligned controls.
• Provide L2/L3 technical support, incident management, troubleshooting, and platform optimisation.
• Mentor team members and contribute to knowledge sharing and capability uplift.

Skills & Experience

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

• Strong hands-on experience developing and supporting Microsoft 365 enterprise solutions.
• Proven experience with SharePoint Online and SPFx development using React and TypeScript.
• Experience developing applications and integrations for Microsoft Teams.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Graph API and Microsoft 365 automation.
• Experience administering Microsoft 365 security and compliance platforms.
• Demonstrated capability with PowerShell scripting and automation.
• Experience with Microsoft Defender, Purview, and tenant security configuration.
• Understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, including Essential Eight and ISM controls.
• Experience providing senior-level technical support and resolving complex M365 platform issues.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage technical teams and senior stakeholders.
