Job summary

NTT DATA seeks an AI-enabled business applications consultant to identify, design and govern AI across Dynamics 365, Power Platform and SharePoint. Drive Copilot Studio integration, AI readiness and responsible practices while collaborating with Solution Architects and PMs to deliver differentiated, human-centric AI experiences.

The role focuses on bridging business needs with Microsoft ecosystem capabilities, enabling customers to adopt AI in processes and workflows with measurable impact.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a consulting, business applications, digital transformation or AI-focused role.
• Experience with Microsoft technology Implementations including Dynamics 365, Power Platform, SharePoint Online, Microsoft 365.
• Strong understanding of generative AI concepts: LLMs, prompt engineering, AI agents and RAG.

We are seeking an AI-enabled business applications consultant who can help customers identify, design, implement and govern AI capabilities across Dynamics 365, Power Platform, and SharePoint environments. As AI continues to reshape how organisations work, we are expanding our capability in the emerging area of Work AI : helping clients embed AI into business processes, systems and ways of working to drive measurable outcomes.

In this role you will drive our strategy to develop beautifully architected, elegant solutions on the Microsoft Business Applications and AI platforms that deliver differentiated experiences for humans (and Agents. The solutions you lead will have meaningful impact allowing easier adoption, and change people actually want. Together, our solutions aim to reduce technical debt and enable intelligent customer and employee decisions

This is a consulting role focused on helping clients identify, design and implement practical AI solutions across Microsoft business applications and workplace technologies.

You will work alongside Dynamics 365 Functional Consultants, Solution Architects, Technical Consultants, Power Platform specialists and Project Managers to integrate AI capabilities into customer solutions. You will help organisations leverage Microsoft Copilot technologies, Copilot Studio, Power Platform AI capabilities, Dynamics 365 AI features and broader generative AI technologies to improve productivity, customer experience and operational efficiency.

This role is ideal for someone with a solid understanding of AI concepts and hands‑on experience applying AI within Microsoft ecosystems, rather than a deep specialist in data science or AI engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

• Help clients identify and prioritise AI opportunities across business processes and user experiences.

• Facilitate AI discovery workshops and business value assessments.

• Translate business requirements into practical AI-enabled solution designs.

• Advise customers on AI readiness, adoption, governance and responsible AI practices.

Solution Design & Delivery

• Collaborate with Dynamics 365 and Power Platform project teams to design AI-enhanced business solutions.

• Guide implementation of Microsoft Copilot capabilities across:

• Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement

• Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations

• Dynamics 365 Business Central

• Power Platform

• SharePoint and Microsoft 365

• Design and configure solutions using Microsoft Copilot Studio.

• Support development of AI-powered agents, copilots, automations and knowledge experiences.

• Participate in customer solution architecture and design reviews.

• Contribute to proofs of concept, demonstrations and pilot projects.

Project & Customer Engagement

• Work directly with business stakeholders and technology teams on AI enabled projects.

• Support pre-sales activities, workshops and solution demonstrations.

• Stay current with Microsoft's rapidly evolving AI portfolio and emerging market trends.

Skills & Experience

Essential

• 2+ years' experience in a consulting, business applications, digital transformation or AI-focused role.

• Experience working on Microsoft technology implementations, including one or more of:

• Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CRM)

• Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations

• Dynamics 365 Business Central

• Power Platform

• SharePoint Online

• Microsoft 365

• Experience configuring or implementing Microsoft Copilot capabilities and/or Copilot Studio.

• Strong understanding of generative AI concepts, including:

• Large Language Models (LLMs)

• Prompt engineering

• AI agents

• Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)

• AI governance and risk

• Ability to bridge business and technical conversations.

• Strong workshop facilitation and stakeholder management skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Desirable

• Experience with Microsoft AI Foundry (formerly Azure AI Studio).

• Experience with Azure OpenAI Services.

• Knowledge of Microsoft Fabric, Dataverse and Power Platform extensibility.

• Experience integrating AI into CRM, ERP or employee experience solutions.

• Understanding of Responsible AI frameworks and governance models.

• Microsoft certifications in Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Azure AI or Copilot technologies.
