Job summary

NTT DATA is seeking an experienced ERP Solution Architect to lead presales and delivery for Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP. This client-facing role focuses on BusinessCentral modules including Sales, Financial Mgt, Purchasing & Payables, Inventory and Warehouse Management.

You will guide solution architecture, engage with clients, and drive end-to-end delivery and transformation. The role requires strong pre-sales experience, architecture leadership, and a track record of delivering complex D365 ERP

Qualifications

• 10+ years of architecting and delivering D365 BusinessCentral (or F&O) solutions.
• Experience with Power Platform (Power Pages, Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate).
• Appropriate Microsoft certifications in D365.

Responsibilities

• Own ERP solution design from a practice perspective, leading scoping and value proposition.
• Deliver solution architecture, demos, and proof-of-concepts for D365 ERP projects.
• Lead onshore/offshore/hybrid delivery models for scalable project execution.
• Provide governance and best practices across delivery engagements.

Role Summary

This role is suitable for a seasoned ERP Solution Architect to lead presales and delivery for Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP team. This is a client-facing, project delivery role. The role owner will possess a strong understanding across D365 modules on BusinessCentral including Sales, Financial Mgt, Purchasing & Payables, Inventory and Warehouse Management with a complimentary industry knowledge of best practice enterprise resources planning activities. This role will play the accountable role in leading the team, building and improving capability, engaging with clients, and ensuring successful project delivery. The role is responsible for contributing to the end-to-end customer experience including network and prospecting, developing NTT Data's reputation in the marketplace in this (ERP) area, developing the (deal) client value proposition and scoping, commercially viable ERP deals. In this role you will drive our strategy to develop beautifully architected, elegant solutions on the Microsoft BusinessCentral and AI platforms that deliver differentiated experiences for humans (and Agents. The solutions you lead will have meaningful impact allowing easier adoption, and change people actually want. Together, our solutions aim to reduce technical debt and enable intelligent customer and employee decisions. The ERP solution architect will work alongside other practice leads to assist in the design and implementation of hybrid onshore/offshore delivery models needed to support scalable, cost-effective project execution. The role is an essentially, high touch client facing role to compliment our extensive global delivery capabilities.

Role Key Responsibilities

PreSales

• Own ERP solution design from a practice perspective, being the primary point of contact for the solution development, value proposition, owner of the scoping
• Collaborate with sales teams to understand client requirements and scope tailored D365 solutions.
• Act as a senior practice ambassador at industry events, Microsoft conferences, webinars, and thought leadership forums.
• Contribute strongly to the commercial viability of solutions in terms of estimations, solution structuring, key messaging.
• Lead, Develop and present solution architecture, demos, and proof-of-concepts.
• Co-design Offers including the Onshore/Offshore/Hybrid value proposition
• Act as a trusted advisor to clients during the Delivery cycle in terms of delivery quality

Service Delivery

• Deliver against solution quality outcomes for ERP projects
• Deliver on projects with a target of 50% (tbd) personal utilisation on client engagements.
• Drive the development of AI ERP solutions / project delivery capability
• Oversee functional and technical teams through implementation phases maintain utilisation targets
• Conduct lead architecture QA governance such as
• Ensure architectural integrity, scalability, and performance of solutions.
• Oversee data migration, integration, and customisation efforts.
• Provide governance and best practices across delivery engagements.
• Conduct solution reviews and ensure alignment with Microsoft standards.
• Provide strategic guidance on digital transformation initiatives.
• Provide project oversight for Risk and issue escalation

People & Communication

• Align with the broader cultural principles of NTT Data
• Lead and mentor Functional and Technical Dynamics ERP consultants
• Build intentional relationships with client stakeholders and internal teams (PM, Testing, BAs).
• Contribute to the ERP related aspects of the Microsoft relationship

Knowledge

• Own and ensure application of a standard delivery methodology
• Create new knowledge based on lessons learned, project experiences and new (ERP) market trends (Drive thought leadership (i.e. new offers) on AI-enabled ERP transformation, ensuring the practice remains in line with market trends. )
• Drive consistent delivery excellence through standardised methodology, IP reuse, accelerators, and AI-assisted implementation tools.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strategic thinking and commercial mindset
• 10+ years of experience in architecting and delivering D365 BusinessCentral (or F&O) solutions.
• Proven track record in Pre-Sales engagements and client presentations.
• Strong expertise in relevant D365 modules and selected ISV solutions
• Experience with Power Platform (Power Pages, Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate).
• Appropriate Microsoft certifications in D365
• Innovation mindset—particularly with AI and digital transformation
