Job summary

Walkers in Geelong is seeking a metre-rate plaster carter who is physically fit and takes pride in delivering plasterboard and related goods in perfect condition. The role involves loading and unloading heavy loads by hand and requires flexibility with hours to meet deadlines.

A White Card is required or willing to obtain one, and safety comes first with strict adherence to safe lifting practices. You will work as part of a small, hands-on team focused on reliable service.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Load and unload heavy loads of plasterboard.
• Deliver and hand over materials ensuring they arrive in good condition.

We are looking fora metre rate plaster carter who isphysically fit and who takes pride in their work, delivering our fragile goods in perfect condition.

We have built our reputation on providing quality service in all aspects of the business so the following attributes are required:

Fit and able - A large proportion of the position will have you loading and unloading heavy loads by hand

Customer focused is a requirement for all positions with Walkers

Must be able to be flexible with hours to meet deadlines.

Adhere to safe working practice, especially with heavy lifting

Must hold a Construction Induction Card (White Card) - or be willing to obtain.

The Pay Structure: Instead of a flat hourly wage, a metre rate applies. This means your earnings depend entirely on how many square metres of plasterboard you and your driver unload.
