Job summary

Service Stream is seeking a Meter Reader to cover the Riverland - Renmark area. The role involves walking a neighbourhood to take and record utility meter readings. No experience is required and immediate start available.

Training, PPE and uniform are provided to support a healthy, active outdoor lifestyle. Candidates should have a valid driver's licence, a reliable vehicle, and be comfortable with daily travel and weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Current valid driver's licence.
• Reliable motor vehicle and mobile phone.
• Ready to learn and able to work on your own.
• Able to undertake plenty of walking, bending and squatting.
• Able to work Mon-Fri - 5 days, 25–30 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Accurately read allocated meter routes in a timely, efficient and safe manner.
• Uphold safety standards and represent Service Stream professionally.
• Understand and ensure targets are met.
• Ability to work independently but also collaborate with team.
• Regularly communicate with office support team.
• Upload/download route information to/from handheld device.

About the Role

Do you enjoy working outdoors in the community, in a role that supports your health and wellbeing? What you need

• Current valid drivers licence
• Reliable motor vehicle and mobile phone
• Ready to learn and able to work on your own

• Able to work in most weather conditions
• Able to work Mon-Fri - 5 days, 5 days per week, 25 - 30 hours per week
• Flexible and comfortable with daily travel of up to, or more than 45 minutes each way
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and good attention to detail is required
