Job summary

DSC Personnel in New South Wales is seeking a reliable Metal Machine Operator to join our Narellan workshop, manufacturing guttering, steel roofing and related metal products.

You will operate press and metal-forming machinery safely and contribute to a hands-on, quality-driven team, with training provided for the right candidate. The role suits someone with sheet metal experience and a strong work ethic, offering a stable, ongoing position with an early start.

Qualifications

• Experience operating press machines or metalworking machinery preferred.
• Manufacturing, sheet metal or roofing industry experience highly regarded.
• Good attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual work.
• Reliable, punctual and able to consistently start at 5:00 AM.
• Able to follow instructions and work independently.
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
• Forklift licence is an advantage, but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Operate press and metal-forming machinery safely and efficiently
• Manufacture guttering, steel roofing and other metal products
• Measure, cut, form and process sheet metal to specifications
• Conduct quality checks on finished products
• Load and unload materials
• Maintain a clean and organised work area
• Follow workplace health and safety procedures
• Work as part of a team to meet daily production requirements
