Job summary

AWX is seeking a reliable Machine Operator in Queensland to join their manufacturing team. You will receive full training and have the chance to develop new skills with a Monday–Friday 8:00am–4:00pm roster and overtime as needed.

Immediate start available and long-term career prospects with ongoing training and upskilling opportunities. Casual placement for 3 months, transitioning to full-time permanent employment. A positive attitude, teamwork, and a current driver’s licence are essential.

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery in accordance with operating instructions.
• Assist with setup, maintenance, and basic adjustments as required.

Our client is seeking a reliable and motivated Machine Operator to join their growing team. While previous experience in sheet metal or rollforming is highly regarded, it is not essential. We are looking for someone with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn.

About You

Preferred (but not essential)

• Experience in the sheet metal or rollforming industry
• High Risk Forklift Licence
• Experience operating gantry cranes
• Previous machine operating experience
