Chris's Body Builders, located in Melbourne's western suburbs, is seeking skilled fabricators and welders to join our team producing heavy tipping trailers and bodies. You will study drawings, fabricate trailer bodies from steel, Hardox or aluminum, and assemble trailer chassis from steel with GMAW welding.

We emphasize OH&S and independence, offering a solid hourly rate with overtime options and a friendly team environment.

Competenze

• Experience welding aluminum or steel.
• Extensive fabrication experience.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and welding symbols.
• Strong adherence to OH&S and a safe workplace.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.

CBB is looking for skilled fabricators and welders to join our fabrication team producing heavy vehicles for the tipping industry.

Hours: 7:30am - 4pm

Studying drawings and specifications to determine job requirements

Fabricate trailer bodies from steel, Hardox or aluminum

Fabricate trailer chassis from steel

Repair damaged vehicles and warranties

Welding using GMAW processes

Skills and Experience:

Experience in welding aluminum or steel

Skilled in their trade and have extensive fabrication experience

Extensive experience in GMAW welding processes, reading engineering drawings and welding symbols

Strong adherence to OH&S and in keeping asafe workplace

Self-motivatedand able to work independently as required
