TAFE NSW is seeking a Teacher of Metal Fabrication and Welding for its Orange Campus on a permanent full-time basis. The role offers a rewarding teaching career with a salary package of $111,798 – $132,585, including base salary and superannuation contributions, in regional NSW.

The successful candidate will share industry expertise with diverse students, work with local industries, and may travel regionally to deliver training across the region.

Qualifikationen

• Hold appropriate subject knowledge and skills, and at minimum hold a Certificate III in Metal Fabrication (Trades).
• Have a minimum of five years post-qualification industry experience relevant to your qualifications, gained no longer than five years previously.
• Hold evidence of the required teaching qualification to deliver Vocational Education and Training (VET).

Aufgaben

• Share industry expertise with a diverse range of students and help them develop practical welding and fabrication skills.
• Deliver and assess VET metal fabrication and welding training in line with curriculum and industry demand.
• Maintain ongoing VET knowledge, industry currency, and trainer/assessor competence.
