Job summary

The Arnott's Group is seeking a dedicated Merchandiser to cover South of Perth suburbs and surrounding areas, 15 hours per week, permanent part-time.

You will establish store-level visual displays, maintain stock, and support promotional activity while building strong relationships with store staff. Previous merchandising or grocery/FMCG experience is preferred; OH&S guidelines must be followed.

Qualifications

• Prefer prior merchandising or sales experience in grocery or FMCG.
• Able to maintain displays and stock with accuracy.
• Basic selling skills and strong customer focus.

Responsibilities

• Perform merchandising duties at store level per trade standards.
• Maximise sales by seeking incremental opportunities.
• Ensure stock is displayed with correct ticketing and POS.
• Maintain relationships with store staff through effective communication.
• Follow Call Plan and complete in-store tasks as required.
• Support Territory Manager to meet business objectives and POS retention.
• Adhere to OH&S guidelines.

The Opportunity

We currently have an opportunity for a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join us within a high performing team as a Merchandiser in South of Perth suburbs and the surrounding areas.

About the Role

To establish at store level a visual presence through the building & maintenance of displays in line with identified trade standards and maintaining adequate stock cover. Given frequent contact with Customer store staff, a basic understanding of selling is required to assist with limited selling tasks such as selling in, confirming, or upgrading The Arnott's Group promotional activity.

What your day looks like:

• Perform merchandising duties at store level in line with communicated trade standards.
• Maximise sales by seeking incremental opportunities wherever possible
• Ensure adequate stock is available on displays and that correct ticketing and POS in in place.
• Manage customer relationships effectively through communication with relevant store personnel.
• Adherence to scheduled Call Plan and complete all in store tasks as requested through your i-CAP and via your Territory Manager.
• Assist the Territory Manager in achieving their business objectives and targets through selling, effective management & retention of POS and attempting to resolve non-compliance issues
• Strict adherence to provided OH & S guidelines

Ingredients for Success:

• Preferably Higher school certificate
• Previous experience in a merchandising/sales role preferably in a grocery or FMCG organisation.
• Drive for Results, Customer Focus, Interpersonal Savvy, Creativity, Problem Solving, Basic Selling Skills
