Job summary

GPC Asia Pacific Australia Pty Ltd is seeking a Category Coordinator to help drive the delivery of catalogue collateral schedules across Australasia. You will coordinate category/merchandise plans, meet deadlines, and support research, data analysis, reporting and stakeholder management in a fast-paced environment.

The successful applicant will have category or buying exposure, experience in retail or FMCG preferred, strong Excel skills, and an aptitude for turning data into actionable insights.

Qualifications

• Category, merchandise or buying exposure is desirable.
• Retail or FMCG experience is desirable.
• Strong communication and stakeholder relationship skills.
• Excellent Excel skills and good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Love of data with ability to analyze information.
• Keen eye for detail and strong sense of logic.
• Administrative prowess and highly organized.
• Proactive, capable of meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Meet business objectives in relation to category plans.
• Assist in ensuring catalogue deadlines are met.
• Conduct new product research and data analysis.
• Prepare reports and present findings.
• Provide general administration support for the role and category.
• Build internal and external stakeholder relationships.
