Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-directed, able to work independently and with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Enters purchase orders accurately for buyers across multiple departments.
• Follows up on late orders and upcoming shipments; completes balances as needed.
• Assists with PO modifications (delivery extensions, cancellations, cost & retail changes).
• Coordinates with Accounts Payable, PO, Planning, Distribution, and Fulfillment Centers.
• Communicates with vendors regarding PO modifications and shipment statuses.
• Creates and runs reports for buyers (On Order, Sales, etc.).
• Organizes merchandise samples and returns samples to vendors.
• Supports Style Out and Strategy meetings with samples and selling recaps.
• Aids Buyers on special projects (recap projects, trend recaps, trend boards).
• Maintains positive relationships across business areas including global offices.
