Job summary

Billini is seeking a Merchandise Allocator to manage stock across our retail stores from the Marrickville head office. The role is based in Sydney with a hybrid arrangement (1 day WFH, 4 days in the office) and reports to the Senior Merchandise Planner.

You will maintain stock accuracy, coordinate transfers and markdowns, perform size curve analysis, and generate weekly reports while collaborating with Warehouse, Marketing, Product and Production teams.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years experience in a similar role
• Strong administrative skills and attention to detail
• Competent Microsoft Excel skills to manipulate data and handle spreadsheets
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with internal teams and stores
• Ability to multitask in a busy, fast-paced environment
• Positive attitude and passion for fashion
• Experience in Apparel 21 is an advantage but not essential
• Knowledge of the fashion footwear industry is preferred but not essential

Responsibilities

• Maintain optimal stock and SKU levels in retail stores
• Action stock movements, transfers and markdowns as well as investigating stock discrepancies
• Allocate opening and replenishment stock orders
• Size curve analysis
• Prepare and actioning retail store stocktakes
• Actioning decisions around stock allocation and stock mix
• Communicating and working with retail stores as well as other head office departments including Warehouse, Marketing, Product and Production
• Visiting retail stores and promoting an open and receptive culture between the retail team and Merchandise department
• Weekly and ad hoc running of reports
