Job summary

Australian Drafting & Design Pty Ltd in Sydney is seeking an experienced MEP Revit Drafter/Designer for a full-time contract. You will develop coordinated MEP models, layouts and documentation for highly serviced buildings, including healthcare and laboratories, while coordinating with architectural and structural teams.

The role emphasizes strong Revit MEP skills, services coordination, and the ability to read and interpret complex drawings.

Qualifications

• Strong Autodesk Revit MEP skills and building services experience.
• Experience in building services, MEP drafting or multidisciplinary design.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and mark-ups.
• Experience coordinating services within complex or highly serviced buildings.
• Australian working rights.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain MEP Revit models and documentation.
• Prepare coordinated services layouts for mechanical, hydraulic, piping and other building services.
• Model and coordinate pipework, ductwork, equipment and associated services.
• Coordinate MEP services with architectural, structural and other disciplines.
• Assist with services coordination and clash detection/resolution.
• Coordinate services within ceilings, plant rooms, risers and congested areas.
• Interpret engineering drawings, mark-ups and design information.
• Update Revit models throughout design and documentation stages.
• Assist with multidisciplinary BIM coordination.
• Prepare plans, sections, elevations, schematics and detailed services drawings.
• Maintain project BIM, drafting and documentation standards.
