Job summary

Flourish Australia is seeking a First Nations Support and Access Officer based in Liverpool, NSW. This full-time, closed-term position offers mentorship, study time, and a supportive team environment for those new to the sector.

Qualifications

• Must complete a Cert IV or Diploma level qualification.
• Qualifications in human services or mental health and/or a minimum of 3 years equivalent relevant sector experience working with First Nations communities.
• Current Australian driver’s licence.

Responsibilities

• Learn to work in the community with people with lived experience of a mental health issue to support recovery journeys.
• Help develop daily living skills such as preparing and cooking meals.
• Accompany people on outings and appointments to support engagement.
• Collaborate with and refer to culturally appropriate support services to achieve recovery goals.
