Job summary

Magnus Health Pty Ltd is seeking experienced Mental Health Support Workers to join our team across Brisbane's North and Southside, providing tailored support in Specialist Independent Living houses and community shifts. Rosters vary to meet participant needs, including 1:1 and 1:2 ratios across 24/7 shifts.

You will deliver personalised care aligned with individual plans, support daily living activities, and help create safe environments while promoting independence and life quality.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Individual Support (or equivalent).
• Current Blue Card (Working with Children Check).
• Valid NDIS Worker Screening Check.
• Proven experience in mental health or disability support.

Responsibilities

• Deliver personalised care in line with each participant's support and behaviour plans.
• Assist with daily living activities such as personal care, medication support, and meal prep.
• Create safe, supportive environments and proactively manage behaviours of concern.
• Engage participants in meaningful activities that build independence, confidence and quality of life.

What You'll Do

As a Mental Health Support Worker, you'll provide tailored, high-quality support in our Specialist Independent Living (SIL) houses and during community access shifts. Rosters vary to match participant needs — including 1:1 and 1:2 ratios across 24/7 shifts.

• Delivering personalised care in line with each participant's individual support and behaviour plans
• Assisting with daily living activities such as personal care, medication support, and meal prep
• Creating safe, supportive environments and proactively managing behaviours of concern
• Engaging participants in meaningful activities that build independence, confidence, and quality of life

What You'll Bring
