Job summary

Albury Wodonga Health (AWH) in Albury/Wodonga is seeking Casual Mental Health Officer staff to provide psychosocial support within a short-term, bed-based recovery service. AWH operates across two primary hospital campuses and multiple sites, serving a large regional population.

The role requires a Certificate IV in Mental Health, strong communication skills, and a commitment to trauma-informed, recovery-oriented care.

Qualifications

• Passion for supporting mental health recovery.
• Experience working with mental health consumers.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of recovery-oriented practice and trauma-informed care.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychosocial recovery support to consumers in a short-term, bed-based recovery service.
• Work across a 24/7 roster including day, afternoon and sleepover shifts.
