UnitingCare Queensland is seeking a Counsellor & Group Facilitator for the Men Choosing Change program in Ipswich. The role provides intake, individual and group sessions, and risk-managed safety planning for men who use domestic and family violence.

A Bachelor’s degree in a related field and strong counselling skills are required. The role is part-time (4 days, 30.4 hours/week) with a maximum-term finish of 30 June 2027, located in Ipswich.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline.
• Experience in domestic and family violence and counselling practices.
• Strong counselling and group facilitation skills with clients with complex needs.
• Experience in risk assessment and safety planning.

Responsabilidades

• Facilitate behaviour-change programs for men who use domestic and family violence.
• Conduct intake and review sessions; facilitate group sessions using evidence-based approaches.
• Complete client assessments and maintain progress notes and records.
• Develop safety plans with focus on risk management and cessation of violence.
