Job summary

Connell Trading is seeking a reliable MR Driver for varied local and regional deliveries around Goulburn and surrounding areas. You will load and unload goods, including 20–25 kg bags, and complete delivery paperwork while liaising directly with customers.

A forklift licence is valued but not required; training is available for the right candidate. Hours vary with deliveries and workload, and we look for someone who can start promptly and contribute to a small team with a hands-on approach in a

Local & Regional Deliveries | Varied Work | Hands-On Role

MR Driver – Immediate Start | Goulburn

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking MR Driver to join our busy team in Goulburn for an immediate start.

This isn't a role where you'll spend every day doing the same run. You'll be delivering a variety of loads to customers throughout Goulburn and surrounding regions, including stockfeed, hay, general freight and occasional building supplies.

You’ll be working with a small, busy team where reliability, common sense and a willingness to get in and help are highly valued.

About the role

Your day-to-day work may include:

• Local and regional deliveries throughout Goulburn, Canberra, Yass, Southern Highlands, Sydney and surrounding areas

• Delivering stockfeed, hay, general freight and other goods

• Deliveries directly to farms, businesses and customer properties

• Loading and unloading trucks

• Hand unloading some deliveries, including repetitive lifting of 20–25kg bags

• Checking loads and ensuring they remain within legal weight and loading requirements

• Completing basic delivery paperwork and communicating with customers and our team

• General assistance around the yard/store when required

About you

We're looking for someone who:

• Holds a current MR licence

• Has a good driving history and takes pride in looking after their vehicle

• Is reliable and turns up when they say they will

• Is physically capable and comfortable with manual handling

• Has a practical, can-do attitude

• Can work independently and use common sense

• Is comfortable dealing directly with customers

• Has basic maths skills and an understanding of vehicle/load capacities

• Is flexible with start and finish times when required

A forklift licence is highly regarded, but not essential.

Previous truck driving or delivery experience is preferred, however we're happy to provide training to the right person with the right attitude.

Don't currently hold an MR licence?

We may consider an exceptional applicant who is genuinely willing and able to upgrade their licence promptly.

Hours

Hours vary depending on deliveries and workload and can include early starts and occasional later finishes.

We'll discuss expected hours, availability and the requirements of the role with shortlisted applicants.
