Job summary

SustainHealth Recruitment is seeking Medical/Surgical Registered Nurses to join busy regional health services across NSW. Roles include rotating shifts and contracts from 4–12 weeks, with travel and accommodation provided.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years Medical/Surgical experience, strong clinical assessment skills, and current AHPRA registration. We support nurses with dedicated consultants and regional opportunities nationwide.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Minimum 2 years' recent Medical/Surgical nursing experience.
• Excellent clinical assessment and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Current National Police Check.
• Current Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
• Full immunisation record, including COVID-19 vaccination (as required).
• Full Australian working rights for the duration of the contract.

Responsibilities

• Provide Medical/Surgical nursing care across Regional NSW.
• Rotating roster including morning, afternoon and night shifts.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver patient care.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans accordingly.

Medical/ Surgical Registered Nurse

The Role

• Various locations across Regional NSW
• Minimum 2 years' recent Medical/Surgical nursing experience
• Rotating roster including morning, afternoon and night shifts
• Contract lengths from 4–12 weeks (or longer opportunities available)
• Pay rates up to $68.23/hour + shift penalties + super (depending on experience)
• Meal Reimbursement up to $170 per day | depending on the location
• Full travel will be covered (flights, fuel or public transport)
• Free accommodation provided for the duration of the contract
• Work with well‑established and supportive regional health services
• Dedicated consultant support throughout your contract
