Queensland Pelvic Floor Services – Greenslopes QLD is seeking an experienced, professional and friendly Medical Receptionist to join our established specialist practice on a full-time basis.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a medical reception or medical administration role.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a warm and compassionate approach.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Confident managing telephone enquiries and patient interactions with diverse backgrounds.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail, with strict confidentiality.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and professional conduct.
• Experience with Genie practice management software and Microsoft Office is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming patients as the first point of contact in a friendly, professional manner.
• Manage appointment bookings for consultations, follow-ups and procedures.
• Answer telephone calls, respond to patient inquiries and triage messages.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure privacy compliance.
• Coordinate referrals and correspondence with other healthcare providers.
• Perform general administrative duties (filing, scanning, data entry, typing).
• Assist with sterilisation duties following practice protocols.
• Collaborate with specialists, nurses and staff to support patient flow and continuity of care.
• Maintain a high standard of reception area and administrative processes.
