Job summary

SKG Radiology in Western Australia is seeking a Medical Receptionist to be the friendly first point of contact for patients, handling bookings for X-ray, ultrasound and imaging services. You will manage patient accounts, update records and support a busy hospital site.

Key attributes include a patient-first approach, strong communication skills, accuracy with data entry, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team across a 7-day roster.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred, strong phone manner.
• Ability to handle bookings and patient accounts accurately.
• Comfort with updating patient profiles and records.
• Willingness to work across a hospital roster including weekends.

About the role

As a Medical Receptionist, you will act as the first and last point of contact for our patients, providing excellent service, accurate bookings of procedures over the telephone, settling patient accounts and updating patient profiles.

Previous experience within a customer service industry will be highly desirable; however, this is not mandatory, as full training will be provided.

This is a Full Time position worked as 75 hours per fortnight.

Being a hospital site, operating hours are during and outside of standard business hours. This branch opens 7 days a week with service level hours subject to change as per the demands of the branch and/or hospital. There is an expectation of this role to work hours across the full week as per the branch roster including weekends.
