St John of God Midland Public Hospital is seeking a Medical Education Registrar (0.5 FTE) to support JMO education and wellbeing within a metropolitan teaching hospital in Midland, WA. The role reports to the DPGME and collaborates with DCTs and the Medical Education Officer to deliver and improve postgraduate medical education programs.

The successful candidate will hold General Registration with AHPRA, be an Advanced trainee or near completion, and contribute to mentorship, training curriculum

Formación

• General Registration with the Medical Board of Australia (AHPRA)
• Advanced trainee status or progress towards it
• Experience in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching

Responsabilidades

• Assist in the development, delivery and continuous improvement of JMO education programs
• Advocate for JMOs and represent their interests
• Develop mentorship programs for service registrars and non-vocational JMOs
• Support wellbeing and pastoral care of JMOs
• Liaise with DPGME and communicate with committees affecting postgraduate medical education
