St John of God Subiaco Hospital in Subiaco, WA, is hiring a Medical Education Registrar for a 0.4 FTE, 12-month fixed-term role starting in November 2026. The position offers family-friendly hours and involves developing and delivering JMOs education under the Deputy Director of Medical Services and DCT.

You will require General Registration (AHPRA) and ideally advanced trainee status or progress towards it, with demonstrated teaching experience and a commitment to the hospital's mission and

Qualifications

• General Registration as a medical practitioner with the Medical Board of Australia (AHPRA).
• Advanced trainee status or progress towards an advanced trainee position in a recognised specialty is preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge and expertise in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching activities.
• Ability to pass on knowledge to the hospital's junior medical staff.

Responsabilités

• Develop and deliver Junior Medical Officer education programs.
• Contribute to educational programs and participate in key committees shaping postgraduate education.
• Assist with the development, delivery and improvement of JMOs education under DCT direction.
• Advocate for JMOs by addressing their interests and priorities and assist with teaching and professional development activities.
