ForHealth Group is seeking a Casual Medical Assistant to join our Wyoming practice, collaborating with experienced Nurses and General Practitioners to deliver high-quality care for all patients. This role supports reception and administrative duties while delivering superior service to patients and healthcare practitioners.

Qualifications

• Certificate 3 Health Services Assistant or Certificate 4 Medical Practice Assisting completed or first year of Nursing.
• Flexibility with availability and ability to multitask effectively.
• Eligibility to work in Australia and Working With Children Check clearance.

Responsibilities

• Ensure clinical areas are stocked and replenish supplies as needed.
• Clean and sterilise instruments and maintain equipment.
• Document care provided accurately and timely.
• Provide customer service as the first point of contact for patients.
• Provide administrative support to the team.

The Role

We are looking for a Casual Medical Assistant to join our Wyoming practice to be a key team member working collaboratively with an experienced team of Nurses and General Practitioners, providing high quality and comprehensive care for all patients.This role will provide support with reception and administrative duties while providing a superior customer service experience to patients and healthcare practitioners.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure Clinical areas are adequately stocked and take action to replenish stock before depletion.
• Clean and sterilise instruments as required and take measures to ensure instruments are maintained and replaced when no longer in working order.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of care provided
• Document all patient care activities
• Provide a high level of customer service as the first point of contact for patients
• Provide admin support

The Successful Candidate

• Certificate 3 Health Services Assistant, Certificate 4 Medical Practice Assisting or first year of Bachelor of Nursing completed
• Flexibility with availability
• Capacity to multi-task and prioritize
• Working With Children Check Clearance
• Evidence of routine immunization serology
• Eligibility to work in Australia required
