Job summary

Queensland Government is seeking a coordinated administrator to support the Senior Medical Workforce Unit in Cairns. The role involves handling general inquiries and clerical tasks to keep operations running smoothly.

In addition, you will assist with recruitment and locum appointment processes and provide payroll and administration guidance to medical staff, contributing to improved service delivery across the health system.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day activities of the Senior Medical Workforce Unit, including fielding general enquiries and undertaking general clerical duties.
• Assist with recruitment and appointment activities to service the needs of the HHS regarding Senior Medical Staff locum appointments.
• Provide advice on Payroll queries and administration functions to medical staff to maximise opportunities for enhanced service delivery.
