Job summary

SwarmFarm Robotics, in collaboration with TRG, seeks a Mechatronics Engineer to ensure performance, reliability, and quality of autonomous farming robots. You will work hands-on with lidars, cameras, GPS units, embedded systems, and collaborate with software and robotics teams to integrate, test, and improve the platform.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Strong hands-on skills in wiring electronics and fixing hydraulic issues.
• Familiarity with oscilloscopes and multimeters.
• Willingness to work outdoors on commercial farms and perform field testing.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and integrate advanced hardware systems including lidars, cameras, antennas, GPS units, and embedded devices.
• Collaborate with development, robotics, and SwarmConnect partners to integrate new hardware and ensure seamless operation across mechanical, electrical, and software components.
• Commission SwarmConnect products, ensuring correct operation and smooth onboarding into the system.
• Design, build, and maintain reliable test setups that span mechanical, electrical, and software layers.
• Conduct field testing on commercial farms, running structured test plans and collecting high-quality data to support continuous improvements.
• Perform functional, regression, and end-to-end testing across hardware and software to ensure system reliability and readiness for release.
• Work closely with the development team to execute test plans, identify defects, and provide clear, actionable feedback for improvements.
• Assist technical support teams to quickly troubleshoot and resolve escalated issues, ensuring our commercial fleet remains operational.
• Develop and maintain software tools and scripts to streamline testing, data analysis, system diagnostics, and integration workflows.
• Contribute to scalable testing processes, documentation, and internal toolkits that enhance engineering productivity and system reliability.
