Job summary

Sydney Earthworks is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Technician in Mt Vernon, NSW to provide specialist technical support for piling rigs, CFA conversion systems, hydraulic attachments and excavation support equipment. You will test, maintain, troubleshoot and calibrate mechanical and hydraulic systems to ensure reliability and safety.

The role offers an annual remuneration of $80,000 to $100,000 plus superannuation.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent work experience.
• Strong knowledge of hydraulic and mechanical systems used in piling, shoring and civil construction.
• Experience diagnosing, repairing, testing and calibrating equipment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair piling rig systems and hydraulic components.
• Install, test, adjust and commission piling attachments and equipment.
• Support conversion of piling equipment between bored piling and CFA configurations.
• Maintain technical records and liaise with project teams to minimise downtime.
