Job summary

Service Stream is seeking an experienced Mechanical Supervisor for its Utilities team to deliver water infrastructure upgrade projects in Melbourne's northern and eastern suburbs. Based in Epping, VIC, you will supervise construction works at multiple treatment plant sites, coordinate with engineers, and drive safety and quality across the delivery team.

Qualifications

• Mechanical trade background / qualification.
• Supervisors living in Melbourne’s northern or eastern suburbs are encouraged to apply.
• Experience in multi-disciplinary capital projects, ideally in water industry.

Responsibilities

• Site supervision, coordination, and quality control of sub-contractor’s construction works.
• Leading site safety.
• Working with project engineers and managers to ensure works are safely constructed and aligned with design.
• Managing and coordinating subcontractors and installations (civil/structural, mechanical, electrical).
• Ensuring all pre-start activities, permits and safety documentation are completed.
• Assist with commissioning and liaise with client personnel and stakeholders.
