Job summary

Programmed in Traralgon, VIC is seeking a Mechanical Supervisor to lead a team of technicians and contractors, directing maintenance on pumps, dredgers, conveyors and related systems to ensure safe, reliable operations on site.

You will oversee preventive and corrective work, ensure OHS compliance, and collaborate with engineering, operations and procurement to lift asset performance. Local base DIDO indicates hands-on leadership on site.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification in Mechanical Engineering or Fitter.
• Proven experience in heavy industrial, mining, trade or power generation environments.
• Strong leadership and team coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of mechanical technicians and contractors.
• Supervise mechanical maintenance of pumps, dredgers, stackers, conveyor systems, and auxiliary systems.
• Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.

We are currently seeking a skilled Mechanical Supervisor to join our team in Traralgon, VIC (local base DIDO). In this hands-on leadership role, you'll oversee the maintenance and performance of critical mechanical systems, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient operations. Reports to Mechanical Superintendent / Maintenance.

Key Responsibilities
