Job summary

Growers Services Griffith is seeking an experienced Mechanical Technician to service and pre-deliver tractors, combines and farm machinery across multiple sites including Griffith. You will build strong relationships with clients and respond to call-outs for maintenance and repairs.

The role requires trade qualification in agricultural machinery, and prior Case IH experience is highly valued. Training in Case IH is an advantage, with a collaborative, professional culture and career development

Qualifications

• Experience servicing and maintaining Case IH machinery.
• Proven technician experience in agricultural machinery.
• Trade qualified with agricultural machinery expertise.
• Case IH training is an advantage but not essential.
• Ability to liaise with staff and departments; strong communication.

Job Description

A fantastic opportunity is available for experienced and self-motivated individuals to join the Growers Services service department in the role as Mechanical Technician. Roles are based in Mildura, Swan Hill, Ballarat, Berri, Renmark, Griffith, Echuca, Murray Bridge (SA), St Arnaud (Vic), and Bordertown (SA). The Technician will be responsible for Pre-Delivery and servicing of new and used tractors, Combines and general farm machinery, as well as preparing traded machines for sale.

Serving existing clients needs as well as call outs for general servicing and breakdowns. The Service Technician will also be responsible for creating and maintaining relationships with both new and existing clients. To be considered for the role applicants would need to demonstrate the following experience and skills:

A proven work history in servicing and maintaining Case IH machinery Previous experience as a Technician

Be trade qualified with demonstrated experience in the agricultural machinery industry Completed specialist Case IH training an advantage but not essential

Ability to liaise with other staff and departments Excellent technical and communication skills with the ability to further develop our culture that promotes accountability, professionalism and teamwork which exceeds all customers’ expectations
