Job summary

Evolution Mining LTD. is seeking a Mechanical Reliability Engineer for Ernest Henry Operations. You will lead reliability initiatives to maximise performance and lifecycle of critical mining assets, partnering with Maintenance, Operations and Engineering to implement improvements across site.

The role offers opportunities to develop strategies, drive condition monitoring, and coach teams while supporting safe, efficient operations at Ernest Henry.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent qualification.
• Experience in mining, processing, heavy industry or asset-intensive environments.
• Knowledge of mechanical systems (crushing, conveying, dewatering, hoisting, ventilation or concentrator plant).
• Experience applying condition monitoring techniques including vibration analysis, thermography and oil analysis.
• Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• A passion for reliability, continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimise reliability strategies and maintenance programs for critical plant and infrastructure assets.
• Lead reliability improvement projects from concept through to implementation and commissioning.
• Drive predictive and preventative maintenance initiatives to improve equipment performance and availability.
• Partner with Maintenance teams to identify and implement engineering improvements and reliability solutions.
• Provide technical support, coaching and guidance to operational and maintenance teams.
• Analyse asset performance data and prepare reports that support informed decision-making and continuous improvement.

As a Mechanical Reliability Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in maximising the performance, reliability and lifecycle of critical mining and processing assets at Ernest Henry Operations.

Partnering with Maintenance, Operations and Engineering teams, you'll drive reliability strategies, lead improvement initiatives and solve complex asset challenges that directly influence safety, production and operational performance across the site.

In this role, you’ll:

• An Engineering degree or equivalent qualification
