Job summary

Evolution Mining is seeking an Auto Electrician to maintain underground and surface mining fleet at Ernest Henry Operations. You’ll perform preventative maintenance, fault finding and repairs to maximise equipment availability and safety.

Join a high-performing Mobile Maintenance team; contribute to reliability, documentation, and continuous improvement. FIFO from Brisbane, Townsville or Cairns on a 8/6/7/7 roster with local accommodation and site facilities.

Qualifications

• Experience fault finding on electrical and electronic systems in heavy mining equipment.
• Strong diagnostic skills for electrical/control faults in mining assets.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance, servicing and breakdown repairs on heavy mining equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical, control system and electronic faults.
• Conduct inspections and identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability and performance.
• Complete maintenance documentation and work orders accurately and efficiently.
• Contribute to condition monitoring and continuous improvement initiatives.

As an Auto Electrician, you'll play a critical role in maintaining the reliability and performance of our underground and surface mining fleet at Ernest Henry Operations.

Working as part of a high-performing Mobile Maintenance team, you'll carry out preventative maintenance, fault finding and breakdown repairs across a diverse range of heavy mining equipment. Your expertise will help maximise equipment availability, support production targets and contribute to a safe and efficient operation.

• Trade qualification as an Auto Electrician

• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
