Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Process Engineering.
• 2-3 years of relevant engineering experience, preferably within the oil and gas industry.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• A proactive self-starter who can work independently and take initiative.
• A quick learner with a genuine willingness to develop new technical skills.
• Excellent time management, organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to think outside the box and develop practical, innovative engineering solutions.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to undertake occasional interstate travel and visit operational oil and gas sites.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the design, engineering and development of mechanical equipment and systems for artificial lift pumping applications.
• Prepare and review engineering drawings, technical specifications, calculations and documentation.
• Support equipment manufacturing, assembly, testing and commissioning activities.
• Work closely with suppliers, fabricators, customers and internal teams to deliver engineering solutions.
• Participate in technical troubleshooting, problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assist with project planning, procurement and coordination to ensure timely delivery.
• Provide technical support for field installations and operational activities.
• Occasionally travel interstate and to oil and gas field sites for inspections, commissioning and technical support.
