Job summary

Hydmech Plumbing & Pipe is a Gold Coast based mechanical plumbing contractor specialising in HVAC water systems and mechanical pipework. We're a growing business focused on delivering quality systems and reliable solutions for our clients.

We are looking for a qualified plumber with Queensland licences to work across commercial HVAC projects, install plantrooms and piping across chilled water and condenser systems.

Qualifications

• Qualified plumber with relevant QLD licences.
• Mechanical plumbing/HVAC pipework experience.
• Takes pride in producing neat, high-quality work.

Responsibilities

• Work across chilled water, heating hot water and condenser water systems.
• Install and maintain mechanical plantrooms.
• Work with carbon steel, stainless steel and copper pipework.
• Install chiller, pump, cooling tower, AHU and FCU piping.
• Perform pipework modifications, upgrades and equipment changeovers.
• Deliver commercial HVAC projects, fit-outs and refurbishments.

Job description

You'll be working across a range of mechanical plumbing projects including chilled water, heating hot water and condenser water systems, mechanical plantrooms, carbon steel, stainless steel and copper pipework, chiller, pump, cooling tower, AHU and FCU piping installations, pipework modifications, upgrades and equipment changeovers, and commercial HVAC projects, fit-outs and refurbishments.

Key responsibilities

Work across chilled water, heating hot water and condenser water systems

Install and maintain mechanical plantrooms

Work with carbon steel, stainless steel and copper pipework

Install chiller, pump, cooling tower, AHU and FCU piping

Perform pipework modifications, upgrades and equipment changeovers

Deliver commercial HVAC projects, fit-outs and refurbishments

About you

Qualified plumber with relevant QLD licences

Mechanical plumbing/HVAC pipework experience

Takes pride in producing neat, high-quality work

Good communication and problem-solving skills

Takes safety seriously

Experience with carbon steel, stainless steel, copper, welding, grooved and press-fit systems will be highly regarded
